Posani criticises Minister Konda Surekha's personal remarks

HYDERABAD: Actor and writer Posani Krishna Murali has publicly criticised Minister Konda Surekha for making personal remarks about actor Nagarjuna and his family.

Speaking at a press conference, Posani expressed his displeasure, stating that it was inappropriate for a minister to target an individual's personal life in such a manner.

"Nagarjuna is a good person, and making inappropriate remarks about his family is unacceptable," Posani said, adding that public figures should avoid engaging in personal attacks. He stressed that such comments not only damage personal reputations but also set a bad precedent for public discourse.

Posani also mentioned actress Rakul Preet Singh, highlighting how she continues to face unwarranted comments despite being married, and condemned this behaviour as well. He called for greater respect and professionalism when discussing public figures.

Posani demanded that Minister Konda Surekha hold a press conference to issue a public apology for her statements. He urged leaders to focus on constructive discussions rather than indulging in personal criticism, especially given their influence on public perception.
