Priests predict successful year for KTR on Ugadi, victory in next elections

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao will have a successful Telugu New Year and will witness a rise in popularity according to the ‘Ugadi Panchanga Shravanam’ held at the Telangana Bhavan here on Tuesday.

“You must speak softly as harsh words could cause trouble. There is the threat of theft, but your image among the party cadre and people will increase. Those who left you will come back. It will be a successful year. Victory is yours in the next elections,” the Pundits said reading out predictions for KTR this year named ‘Krodhi’.

Addressing the gathering that included senior BRS leaders, former Ministers, Legislators, and MPs, KTR said that he would resist talking politics on Ugadi day. “I wish every Telugu person living in India and abroad a happy Ugadi. I hope everyone lives in peace and communal harmony prevails in the country,” KTR said.

He wished that the Telugu New Year would witness a revival in agriculture in the State so that farmers and the society at large prosper.
