Prove your charges, I will quit my job; Warangal CP AV Ranganath dares Bandi Sanjay
AV Ranganath said that he was working transparently without giving the scope for political allegiances and claimed that people knew his integrity
WARANGAL: Warangal Commissioner of Police A V Ranganath on Tuesday challenged BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay Kumar to prove the ‘settlement’ accusations he made against him and vowed that he would quit his job if the allegations were proven right.
Reacting to Bandi Sanjay’s allegations at a press conference here, the Commissioner said that he had no political motives to file false cases against the BJP. AV Ranganath said that he was working transparently without giving the scope for political allegiances and claimed that people knew his integrity.
The Warangal police boss said that he had to face false allegations for being honest in his duties and taking strict action in cases which, he said, was causing problems to some people. Bandi Sanjay, who was recently arrested in the SSC paper leakage case, made severe allegations against Ranganath and demanded that the CP swore on his police cap if the latter was really investigating the case with sincerity.
A V Ranganath also denied the allegations in the Satyam Babu case and clarified that he was not an investigation officer in the case and just a special officer sent to Nandigama.
