Rahul Gandhi calls Kaleshwaram KCR’s ATM, promises to return ill-gotten wealth to people

MEDIGADDA: KCR and his family are using the Kaleshwaram Project as their personal ATM to plunder the people of Telangana, alleged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He visited the Lakshmi Barrage at Medigadda on Thursday accompanied by TPCC president A Revanth Reddy.
Later addressing a public meeting in Medigadda he said that he observed that cracks developed in multiple pillars because of the shoddy construction due to which the barrage was sinking.
Terming Kaleshwaram as the epitome of corruption he assured the people that after coming to power in Telangana, the Congress would deposit money into the accounts of the poor to compensate for the loss incurred by the State.
“KCR used Kaleshwaram as an ATM and sunk the state into a debt trap. KCR stole one lakh crore of your hard-earned money under the guise of Kaleshwaram. Now every one of you has to shell down Rs 31,500 as an installment. So we have decided that we will compensate that amount once we come into power, “he declared.
Adding that women often become victims of rising prices, he said that Congress decided to deposit Rs 2,500 in their accounts under Mahalakshmi every month, reduce gas cylinder prices to Rs 500 and provide free travel to women.
Calling the ensuing elections a fight between classes, he said that Congress was fighting the rich BRS-BJP-MIM combine single-handedly.
