Raids: Telangana Congress leaders to lay siege to BRS office in Delhi
Telangana Congress leaders stated that they intend to take the matter to court against the police for acting as an agent of the TRS party
HYDERABAD: Telangana Congress leaders plan to storm the newly inaugurated Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office in Delhi on Wednesday.
Telangana Congress leaders, including PCC chief/Lok Sabha MP Revanth reddy and Lok Sabha MP Uttam Kumar reddy, to lay siege to the BRS head office, which was inaugurated on Wednesday, according to a statement from the Telangana Congress.
Telangana Congress leaders alleged that Hyderabad police illegally entered into Strategist and INC 2024 task force member Sunil Kanugolu's office in Hyderabad without any documents, seized the computers, and arbitrarily picked up three INC war room members.
Telangana Congress leaders stated that they intend to take the matter to court against the police for acting as an agent of the TRS party. They protested in all of Telangana's mandals before marching to Delhi for seizing the newly inaugurated BRS office.
According to the Congress party, it had been more than 14 hours since Congress war room members were detained, and the police had not provided the FIR or revealed the sections under which the Congress room members were taken away.
MP Uttam Kumar Reddy stated, "This is absurd, nonsense. Are we in India, North Korea, or Pakistan? Just for putting up a post about K Kavitha's involvement in the liquor scam, which is true. The police were hounding our people without reason; we would raise it in Parliament, protest across Telangana, and siege the BRS office soon".
