Revanth insulting Chief Minister's post by failing to implement promises, says Harish Rao
"The Congress is blocking the good work started by KCR. The future is ours. Let's work hard in the Parliament elections and vote heavily in Medak," said Harish Rao
HYDERABAD: BRS leader and Siddipet MLA Harish Rao has said party president K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has given the Chief Minister's chair to Revanth Reddy in alms and that is acting irresponsibly.
Speaking at a review meeting of BRS Medak constituency on Sunday, Harish said, "Whatever happens is for good. People are now realising that the Congress cheated them with tall promises even though they knew that there was no budget to fulfill it. They did the same in Karnataka. Congress, which came to power in Karnataka with the promise of implementing five guarantees, has not implemented anything even after eight months of coming to power there.

"There will local body elections here in six months. People will look out and vote for us. The Congress has not brought about any change. KCR gave the Chief Minister's chair in alms to Revanth. If you step into that position, you should be responsible. But Revanth is degrading that post," Harish said.
Citing that an incompetent Congress Government is targetting the opposition, Harish said, "The Congress election campaign was full of lies and now its governance is incompetent. They are harassing the opposition when questions are raised about their promises. False cases are being filed against us. If we had filed cases when we were in power, half of the Congressmen would have been in jail."
Elaborating on the failed promises by the Congress, Harish said, "Free electricity promise has not been implemented. Rythu Bandhu has not been increased to Rs 15,000. Even the existing Rs 10,000 is not being disbursed properly. Rs 2 lakh farm loan waiver has not been waived yet. Pension has not increased by Rs 4,000. Even the promise of Rs 2,000 to every woman has not been implemented. If these promises are not fulfilled within 100 days, we will attack you (Congress). If you go to the Parliament elections without waiving off the loan of farmers, no one will vote for you."

Comparing the current Government with the previous regime, Harish said, "We not just implemented promises in our manifesto but went beyond it. We provided Kaleshwaram water to every farmer, implemented the promise of fresh water to every house, looked after the welfare of 11 lakh girls and implemented Rythu Bandhu. Even during the difficult time of Corona, we stopped salaries of MLAs and gave Rythu Bandhu. Why is the Congress not doing that even though there is no problem now?
"The Congress is blocking the good work started by KCR. The future is ours. Let's work hard in the Parliament elections and vote heavily in Medak. We failed to publicise the good work that we had done. We will remain adamant and demand that the Congress fulfills its promises. We will fight on behalf of the people in the Assembly," Harish told BRS leaders.
