Revanth Reddy going to lose CM post after Lok Sabha debacle, Congress in match-fixing with BJP: Harish Rao

KARIMNAGAR: Former Minister and senior BRS leader T Harish said that there are clear indications that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will soon lose his post as the Congress will be defeated in the Lok Sabha elections in Telangana.
Addressing a media conference here in Karimanagar on Sunday he said that Revanth started talking about the scrapping of reservations by the BJP without mentioning the six guarantees and 420 promises.
“To divert the attention of the voters Revanth is trying to trigger passions in the name of reservations and taking oaths in the name of Gods. He is spreading canards that the BRS was in cahoots with the BJP, but the fact is that the Congress is match-fixing with the BJP,” Harish Rao pointed out.
The former Finance Minister said that the Congress fielded weak candidates in Huzurabad, Dubbak, and Munugode to help the BJP beat the BRS in those Constituencies, and in Nagarjuna Sagar, there was a tacit understanding between the two national parties.
“Revanth is trying to drag the BRS into the reservation issue by saying that the BRS supporting the BJP to scrap reservations. But the fact is that the BRS passed a resolution in the Assembly for a hike in the quantum of reservations similar to that of Tamilnadu,” Harish said. Revanth with his short-term memory forgot that it was the BRS who fought for reservations in the Parliament.
On the other hand, Narendra Modi was stroking the communal divide in the name of the Congress party's proposed wealth redistribution bill. “He is not talking about the tribals, farmers, and the weaker sections. He said that after Revanth took over prices of household essentials and construction materials skyrocketed.
Harish Rao said that even in Karimnagar the BJP and Congress had an understanding to harm BRS. “Revanth intentionally delayed finalising the candidate for Karimnagar and fielded a weak candidate. On the other hand, Bandi Sanjay and Arvind Dharmapuri are praising Revanth as a fighter,” Harish observed.
