HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and former Minister KT Rama Rao said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is a fool who lacks the minimum understanding of the Telangana movement and the aspirations of the Telangana people.

KTR stated that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is a fool for limiting the decade celebrations to just one day. He mentioned that if their party were in power, they would have conducted month-long celebrations.

He criticised Revanth Reddy for not being able to say "Jai Telangana" even on Telangana Formation Day. He pointed out that Revanth Reddy could not say "Jai Telangana" even in his congratulatory message on formation day. “Revanth Reddy is a "jackpot chief minister" who knows nothing about the sacrifices and movement of the Telangana people, which is why he is conducting the Telangana Formation Day celebrations nominally,” KTR pointed out.

KTR conveys wishes to all

On the occasion of the state completing ten years since its formation, KTR conveyed wishes on behalf of his party and the six million BRS workers to all the people of Telangana. He paid tributes to the martyrs who made numerous sacrifices, including giving up their lives for the attainment of Telangana state.

KTR mentioned that in 2001, KCR created a new revolution with the second phase of the movement, turned the course of history, and established the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party to fulfill the aspirations of the Telangana people.

He said that the sacrifices made for the state bore fruit, and in a decade, the separate Telangana state achieved remarkable progress. "Telangana practices, the nation follows" became an ideal for the country, the former IT Minister said.

KTR extended heartfelt thanks to everyone who had been with KCR for the past 24 years. He conveyed special wishes to the employees, teachers, students, lawyers, journalists, and youth who supported the movement.

He expressed heartfelt congratulations to all sections of society and wished for Telangana to continue to develop and stand as a model for the nation amid the grand celebrations of the decade festival. KTR hoisted the national flag along with the party flag in the presence of party senior leadership at Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad.
