Revanth Reddy lies; Nagarjunasagar under KRMB control, to release 3 TMC to AP
If AP alone let KRMB to manage the projects and Telangana did not, it just doesn’t make sense. On the other hand, AP would have drawn however much it wanted if the KRMB was not controlling it.
HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy lied through their teeth.
It’s Krishna River Management Board that controls the projects shared by Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The KRMB gave permission to Andhra to draw three TMC of water from Nagarjunasagar reservoir through right canal (NSRC).
If AP alone let KRMB to manage the projects and Telangana did not, it just doesn’t make sense. On the other hand, AP would have drawn however much it wanted if the KRMB was not controlling it.
Now, the explanation of Revanth Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy proved to be a blatant lie.
Initially, they blamed the BRS Government for handing over the projects to the KRMB. They have beaten a hasty retreat to say the projects were not handed over.
The Chief Minister and Irrigation Minister were taking an oscillating stand on Krishna water.
