Revanth Reddy to kickstart Munugode campaign on Saturday
TPCC chief Revanth Reddy will be kickstarting the Congress party's campaign in Munugode constituency
MONUGODE: Looking to retain the Munugode Assembly seat, TPCC chief Revanth Reddy will be kickstarting the Congress party's campaign in the constituency on Saturday. He will be touring 176 villages spread across seven Mandals and interacting with the local people.
The TPCC chief is also expected to hoist the Congress party flags besides leading rallies as part of his constituency tour. The resignation of Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy to the Monugode constituency has created a sense of disorder within the TPCC. Even as a war of words ensued among the leaders, the TPCC, especially its chief, has decided to focus on the by-elections and prepared the rank and file for the electoral battle.
Despite the internal discontent, party leaders appear geared up to put in their efforts and win the trust of the people in Munugode once again.
The party has already announced its plan to take to the by-elections with the slogan 'Mana Munugode – Mana Congress.' It intends to distribute stickers related to their campaigns to encourage the participation of the people on a large scale in the constituency.
