HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has called on the film industry to shoulder its social responsibility by actively participating in the fight against drugs in Telangana.

He suggested that a short video against drugs should be produced and screened before every film release, featuring the actors from that film. This initiative aims to create awareness and instill fear about drug use among the public.

The Chief Minister congratulated the team of the film Bharatiyadu 2 for partnering in the Drug-Free Telangana campaign. He appreciated the Telangana government's measures against drugs. He tagged a video by director Shankar and actors Kamal Haasan, Samuthirakani, and Siddharth, urging people to say no to drugs.

In his tweet, Revanth Reddy acknowledged Siddharth and Samuthirakani's collaborative effort in creating this awareness video.
