HYDERABAD: “The Telangana Government has announced that there are no power cuts in the state. But the social media is full of angry netizens complaining of frequent power outages,” BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) said.

On Saturday KTR retweeted the tweets of netizens tagging Energy Minister Bhatti Vikramarka who announced that there will be no power cuts.

“After the Congress came to power in Telangana, the state plunged into darkness. The power cuts become permanent. The Revanth Reddy Government cannot utilise the infrastructure created by the BRS in the power sector,” KTR pointed out.

Before 2014, there were frequent power cuts and holidays, and the KCR government changed everything, the former minister said. He mentioned that the supply of 24-hour quality electricity made, Hyderabad leapfrog in development.

“But this useless Congress government has brought back the old days of 10 years ago. The frequent power cuts are causing inconvenience to the people and industries. Some people are asking what KCR has done. I am giving details to them,” KTR said.
