Revanth Reddy’s popularity touched abyss, Barkha Dutt incident proves his highhandedness: Karthik Reddy
Patolla Karthik Reddy has said that the people of Telangana have realised that they have been cheated by the Congress and are seething with anger to pay the Congress in the same coin.
HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and official spokesperson Patolla Karthik Reddy has said that the people of Telangana have realised that they have been cheated by the Congress and are seething with anger to pay the Congress in the same coin.
Addressing a press conference at the Telangana Bhavan here on Sunday, the BRS leader said that Telangana people quickly believe others but won't be quick in forgiving them.
“They have realised that the Congress Government had cheated them. The Congress did not implement a single guarantee so far. People are struggling for drinking and irrigation water,” Karthik Reddy said. He pointed out that people recognised the difference between KCR’s governance and that of Revanth Reddy. People were taken aback when one minister said that he would slap the farmer with a chappal if asked whether Rytu Bandhu was deposited or not.
Giving the example of the recent experience of famous and eminent journalist Barka Dutt who tried for a sound bite of the Chief Minister, the BRS leader said that everyone in the State had a similar feeling that the Government failed miserably on all fronts in just five months.
Taking to X on April 27, 2024, Barkha Dutt said: “Witnessed horrid high handedness from security detail of Telangana CM Revanth Reddy. At a public event, reporters have the right to try and speak to a public figure. To pull and push us as our equipment falls, pull me by waist - all as CM looks on- is this what power does in a few months.”
