KORATLA: Chief Minister and TPCC President A Revanth Reddy issued a stern warning to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, threatening severe backlash if he implicated him in false cases.

Addressing the Jana Jathara Sabha in Koratla, part of the Nizamabad Lok Sabha constituency, on Wednesday, Revanth Reddy condemned the BJP government for allegedly filing a case against him through the Delhi Police.

Revanth Reddy claimed that the BJP conspired to cancel reservations for SC, ST and OBCs, accusing the party of aiming to win 400 Lok Sabha seats to gain the power to change the Constitution and abolish these reservations.

"To thwart the BJP's conspiracies, I openly questioned them. As a result, the Union Home Ministry filed a case against me in Delhi. The BJP had used the Enforcement Directorate, Central Bureau of Investigation, and Income Tax departments to harass opposition leaders. Now, the BJP government is trying to scare me with a summons from the Delhi Police."

Revanth Reddy stated that he was not afraid of these cases, emphasising his strong support from the people of Telangana, including 50 lakh youth. He compared Prime Minister Modi's approach to that of former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, who, he claimed, was defeated by the people for his dictatorial behaviour.

"Modi will be respected if he acts as Prime Minister. But if he tries to show Gujarati dominance and insult Telangana, the people will stand against it," Revanth Reddy said. He added that society would not stand idle if the BJP tried to assert control over Telangana.

The Chief Minister also expressed dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Modi's recent visit to Telangana, pointing out that he left without addressing crucial issues like the Musi Riverfront development, the turmeric board establishment, or water allocation for Hyderabad. Instead, he alleged that Modi only gave a slogan for "Congress Mukt Bharat," which Revanth Reddy interpreted as an attempt to abolish reservations.

Revanth Reddy questioned Modi's commitment to Telangana, claiming that the Prime Minister had given the state "only donkey eggs" in ten years.

Revanth Reddy also praised the Nizamabad Congress candidate Jeevan Reddy, highlighting his integrity and clean record over 43 years of service. He called for Jeevan Reddy's victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and suggested that he could become the next Agriculture Minister in the INDIA coalition government at the centre.

The Chief Minister also greeted workers on May Day, acknowledging their role in the formation of the state of Telangana.
