RGUKT students, staff hold rally under Aazadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav

HYDERABAD: Amid raging showdown between some students and the management of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), also known as IIIT- Basar, the Vice-Chancellor organised a massive rally under 'Aazadi Ka Amruth Mahotsav' on the campus, on Saturday.

Around 1,200 students participated in the rally,.

The University lined up cultural and sports activities and a big display of fireworks, as a precursor for the grand Independence Day celebrations with participation by students, on Sunday.

To commemorate the 'Swatantra Bharata Vajrotsavalu' the Vice Chancellor, R Ramachandra Raju and Director Prof. Satish Kumar Peddapelli led a massive rally along with faculty and staff.
