Road rage: student injured as autorickshaw driver rams into another in Siddipet

SIDDIPET: A student fell from an auto and was injured when an autorickshaw driver intentionally hit another auto following a dispute between two autorickshaw drivers in Siddipet on Wednesday.

Students studying in a private college in Ponnala were waiting for transportation at the old bus stand in Siddipet, where they boarded an autorickshaw with a driver hailing from Ponnala village.

Tensions escalated when another autorickshaw driver, stationed nearby, engaged in an altercation with the autorickshaw driver questioning him about how he could take the students for a lower charge.

However, the students boarded the autorickshaw from Ponnala. The infuriated autorickshaw driver followed it and rammed into it. As a result of the sudden jerk a girl student fell from the vehicle. The injured student was shifted to the government hospital for treatment. Upon learning about the incident, the Siddipet police registered a case and started an investigation
