RTC driver dies of heart attack while driving bus in Bapatla

BAPATLA: An RTC bus driver from Bapatla depot suffered a fatal heart attack while driving a bus from Repalle to Chirala.

The driver, D. Sambasiva Rao, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and crash into nearby fields.

During the incident, the bus struck a cyclist, Pittu Venkateswara Reddy, who sustained serious leg injuries. Fortunately, all 60 passengers on the bus were unharmed.

Authorities are investigating the accident, and the injured cyclist was taken for medical treatment.
