RTC employee suspended over objectionable social media post

HYDERABAD: The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has suspended RTC employee Jonnada Narendra Reddy for posting an objectionable comment on social media.

The action was taken after Narendra Reddy made an offensive remark regarding a child's post about the demolition activities in the Musi area.

The comment was deemed inappropriate and offensive, leading to widespread condemnation. Responding to the incident, the RTC management took immediate action and issued an order suspending Narendra Reddy. The management clarified that such behaviour from an employee would not be tolerated, stressing the importance of maintaining professional conduct, even on social media.
