Student from Yadadri district of Telangana killed in accident in Florida, USA

HYDERABAD: A student from Telangana who was studying at the Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida, USA died in a road accident.
According to reports reaching here, 25-year-old Guntipalli Sowmya belonged to Yadagiripalle village of the Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district.
Sowmya was hit by a speeding car on Sunday in Florida, that killed her instantly. Sowmya completed her Master's degree from Florida Atlantic University and was trying to find a job through a consultancy.
According to her family members here, Sowmya celebrated her twenty-fifth birthday on May 11.
Sowmya's parents Koteswara Rao, Balamani, and other members of her family have requested the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Embassy in New York for assistance to bring her body back to India.
