Students request RTC MD Sajjanar to increase buses on Shadnagar-Amangal route
Students seek more buses and an extension of bus pass limits on Shadnagar routes, facing transport difficulties.
HYDERABAD: Students from Shadnagar have written to TGSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar, expressing their concerns over the lack of adequate bus services on the Shadnagar-Amangal route. In their letter, the students highlighted the difficulties they are facing due to the reduced number of buses in operation.
According to the students, there were previously 10 buses running on this route, but currently, only 4 buses are available, causing significant inconvenience. They requested an increase in the number of buses to ease their daily commute to colleges and other destinations.
Madhu, a student, further raised the issue of the RTC bus pass distance limit. He pointed out that degree colleges are located far from their homes, and the current pass limit of 35 kilometres is insufficient. He appealed to the RTC to extend the pass limit to 45 kilometres.
Additionally, the students urged Sajjanar to introduce "Palle Velugu" buses on the Shadnagar-Mahbubnagar route to improve accessibility for those in rural areas.
