T-Works CEO Sujai Karempuri meets Foxconn CEO Sidney Lu in Taiwan

HYDERABAD: A delegation from Government of Telangana led by the director of Electronics and Semiconductors, Sujai Karampuri met the Chairman of Hon Hai Technology Group, Young Liu and the CEO of Foxconn Interconnect Technology Limited (FIT), Sidney Lu at the Taipei head quarters in Taiwan on Wednesday.

According to reports, the delegation had discussed about the various initiatives being undertaken by Telangana Government to improve the electronics manufacturing ecosystem in the State. Thay had also discussed the various potential avenues the Foxconn group could explore in Telangana.

Sujai Karampuri had also emphasized that the Telangana state was strategically positioned to be a pioneer and lead the way in high tech manufacturing, with a vision to create $150B high-tech manufacturing ecosystem with 1.5 million workforce by 2032.

Telangana has been a fast emerging state and a preferred destination for new investments and has attracted more than US $ 40 billion investments and created over 22.5 lakh jobs in the last eight years.
