HYDERABAD:HYDERABAD: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) aims to win all 17 seats in Telangana for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024, said Telangana BJP president and Union Minister Kishan Reddy on Sunday.

In preparation for the forthcoming elections, the BJP had decided to organise five bus yatras to encourage participation from the people of Telangana in support of the formation of Narendra Modi's government for the third time at the Centre.

With the aim of garnering support and blessings from the people, the bus yatra was scheduled to begin on February 20 and continue until March 1, 2024.

A poster in connection with the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra undertaken by the BJP was unveiled by Union Minister and Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy on Sunday.

The bus yatra would cover all parliamentary constituencies in five parts, including Komuram Bheem Yatra-1 in Adilabad, Peddapally, Nizamabad parliamentary constituencies, and Satavahana Yatra-2: Karimnagar, Medak, Zaheerabad, Chevella parliamentary constituencies. Kakatiya Yatra-3 in Khammam, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Bhagyanagar Yatra-4 in Bhuvanagiri, Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, and Krishnamma Yatra-5 in Mahbub Nagar, Nagar Kurnool, Nalgonda.

Kishan Reddy said, "The bus yatra will include road shows in each mandal, Assembly, and district centres. This yatra will be attended by district presidents, Assembly conveners, mandal party presidents, other leaders, and people from all walks of life, with senior leaders participating throughout. We have planned mandal, assembly, and district-level meetings with the participants in the journey. The yatra is scheduled to conclude at Bhagyanagar.

"The BJP is receiving a positive response ahead of parliamentary elections in Telangana. The BJP's target is to win all 17 seats in Telangana. It appears that the electoral battle in Telangana is primarily between the BJP and the Congress. We are confident that we will also win the Hyderabad seat this time," he added.

Kishan Reddy asserted that no alliance could rival Narendra Modi's leadership. He highlighted the good governance and welfare initiatives of the Modi government, predicting a substantial majority for the BJP in the upcoming elections, especially in Telangana, where he noted strong support for Modi, even in areas like Khammam and Nalgonda.

Kishan Reddy emphasised that the election represented a contrast between family-driven and corrupt political parties, with the BJP committed to transparency and stability. With the abrogation of Article 370, Prime Minister Narendra Modi resolved a long-standing issue that had plagued the nation for decades, he added.

Kishan Reddy alleged that during the UPA regime, there was corruption amounting to Rs. 12 lakh crores. He highlighted the stable governance under the Narendra Modi government and noted cases where union ministers were jailed for corruption during the UPA regime.

Kishan Reddy said that there was widespread contemplation among the people across the country to bolster the BJP's position under the leadership of Narendra Modi for a third term in the upcoming parliamentary elections. He said a positive atmosphere prevailed from Kashmir to Kanyakumari across all states for the BJP.

Kishan Reddy said, "It is very clear that even prior to the election notification, there is a strong inclination among the people for the return of the BJP government to power. It is also apparent that people are inclined to once again elect Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a third term. Under Modi's leadership, the BJP substantially bolstered its majority in the past two elections, fostering a positive atmosphere that suggested securing a majority in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections."

Krishan Reddy urged people from all walks of life to support the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana.
