HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has been suffering from viral fever and cough for the past week revealed by IT minister KT Rama Rao on Tuesday.
He said that he was being treated at home by his medical team, that he was being closely followed, and that he would be back to normalcy in a few days.
KTR took to 'X' (formally Twitter) and tweeted, "CM KCR Garu has been suffering from viral fever and cough for the last one week. He is being treated at home by his medical team and is being monitored closely. As per doctors, he should be able to get back to normalcy in a few days."
Chief Minister KCR was brought to AIG Hospitals in Hyderabad earlier this year, in March, after feeling acute abdominal discomfort. The hospital discovered that the Chief Minister had developed a stomach ulcer, and CT and endoscopy were conducted. His other metrics were all deemed normal.
He was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in March 2022 due to radiating arm pain. After a preliminary examination, he underwent an angiogram and CT scan and was discharged from the hospital
