HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy announced that Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad will soon be joined by a fourth modern city, Net-Zero City, with advanced infrastructure.

Revanth Reddy laid the foundation for several key facilities in the proposed Net-Zero City at Kandukur, Meerkhanpet. These include the Skill University, Advanced Technology Center, Modern School, Primary Health Center, and Community Center.

Speaking at a local gathering, Revanth Reddy outlined the ambitious plans for the new city, emphasising its importance and the various initiatives being undertaken. "The Mucherla area will be developed into a health tourism hub, sports hub, and education hub. Additionally, a night safari will be established in the nearby Amangal Urban Forests, aiming to elevate the region to a world-class city," he said.

The government will support residents who lose their land for these developments.

The Chief Minister announced that the government would provide skill training and employment opportunities for the children of these families. "The government is planning for the future, with the goal of transforming this area into a future city, surpassing even New York in terms of modernity and infrastructure. The Metro Rail will be extended from LB Nagar to the airport and further to the Net-Zero City. A 200-feet wide road will be constructed to connect the area to the airport. Work on the Regional Ring Road (RRR) will commence in three months, enhancing connectivity and infrastructure," he said.

Revanth Reddy said that admission to the Skill University will ensure job placements for the youth, with many companies already committed to providing jobs and training.
