HYDERABAD: Commemorating the decennial celebrations of Telangana formation, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has announced a gift to its employees. The corporation has decided to pay another tranche of Dearness Allowance (DA) from the pending two arrears.
TSRTC Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan said that the 4.9 percent DA due in July 2022 for the employees would be paid now along with the June month’s salary.
Recalling the role played by the road transport corporation employees in the separate Telangana statehood movement, he said that their active involvement in the “Sakala Janula Samme” for 29 days had contributed a lot to the formation of Telangana.
VC Sajjanar, Managing Director, TSRTC, said that the organisation had so far paid seven DAs despite financial constraints and the remaining DA would be paid at the earliest.
