HYDERABAD: The Telangana Medical and Health Department officials issued notices to hospitals across the State that have been found violating guidelines. The department inspected the hospitals on Saturday.
Officials issued show-cause notices to six hospitals in Nalgonda district. They also shut down five labs and a private hospital there.
They also inspected hospitals in Warangal and Narayanapet districts. Notices were given to three hospitals in Adilabad, two private hospitals in Jagityal and three private hospitals in Mulugu.
Earlier on Saturday, Telangana Government also initiated disciplinary action against medical and health officials responsible for the death of women in the incident of failed family planning operations in Ibrahimpatnam of Ranga Reddy district.
