HYDERABAD: Telangana High Court on Tuesday gave a nod for the public rally to be held under the auspices of RSS in Bhainsa of Nirmal district. However, the High Court imposed certain conditions on the organisers saying that the rally should be held peacefully without disturbing law and order.
Directing the organisers to ensure that not more than 500 people, who didn’t have a criminal history only participated in the rally, the High Court made clear that the said march should be held at a distance of 300 metres away from the mosque. It also ordered that the participants should not make any controversial comments and raise tensions, which would lead to violence.
Earlier, the RSS leaders who were denied police permission for the rally, moved state High Court and the hearing was held on Tuesday. In the arguments, the advocate on behalf of the government claimed that the permission was denied based on the intelligence report. Recalling the past violent events in Bhainsa, he told the court there could be a chance of tensions due to the rally as Bhainsa is a sensitive place in the state.
While the petitioner's lawyer denied the government's claim, he briefed the court that permission was given for the rally on the occasion of Tippu Sultan's birth anniversary in the past. He also argued that Bhiansa is in India itself and there is no scope to deny the permission.
The High Court upon hearing the arguments on both sides gave permission for the RSS rally at Bhainsa.
