Telangana minister Anasuya Seethakka urges caution amidst hot weather
She advised laborers to complete their work early and return home, particularly as the highest temperatures
HYDERABAD: As part of the parliamentary election campaign, Dr. Anasuya Seethakka, Minister of State for Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Women, and Child Welfare, visited Jainoor mandal under the Adilabad Parliament constituency on Monday and issued precautionary measures for Telangana residents during the peak summer season.
She advised laborers to complete their work early and return home, particularly as the highest temperatures are being recorded in the Godavari catchment area. She advised all the residents to take extra precautions. The rising temperatures will severely affect the elderly and young children, she added.
The Minister strongly recommended taking adequate precautions and suggested limiting outdoor activities to the cooler hours between 9 am and 4 pm, or avoiding them altogether when possible.
