Telangana plagued by protests under Congress rule, says KTR
KTR criticises Congress government, citing widespread protests across Telangana on social media.
HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao voiced strong criticism of the Congress-led administration in Telangana, asserting that the state is "riddled with protests" due to what he called "mismanagement" under Congress rule.
In a tweet, KTR shared screenshots of articles highlighting recent protests from various groups, including constable families, farmers, and Gurukul teacher aspirants, accusing the government of neglecting public concerns.
KTR cited ongoing protests from Alampur to Adilabad, extending from gram panchayats to the state Secretariat, and spanning diverse groups—from farmers and rice mill owners to labourers, teachers, and police families. He argued that frustrations over unresolved issues have led to unrest across all sections of society, from students to senior citizens, and from job seekers to employees. According to KTR, the slogan "Enough of Congress rule" has become widespread among Telangana residents.
He mocked the Congress, saying, “Congress arrived, and troubles followed,” and used the phrase "betrayal at every turn" to describe the party's governance style. KTR's remarks have drawn significant attention on social media, reflecting the growing political tensions in Telangana as protests continue across the state.
