Telangana Rains: DGP Anjani Kumar urges citizens not to step out until necessary

HYDERABAD: About 2,900 people were rescued and relocated to rehabilitation centres, said Telangana DGP Anjani Kumar on Thursday. He said that the DGP office was constantly monitoring the rain situation.
He said that six NDRF teams were performing a rescue operation for the flood victims of Machanapally. He urged the public not to step out unless necessary. The DGP assured the people that the situation is under the control of three commissionerates in Hyderabad.
The flooded water on the Musaram Bagh Bridge, according to Anjani Kumar, is also under control. He said that parents should keep an eye on their children to avoid tragic mishaps.
