Those who received Rs 2 lakh crop loan waiver vote for Congress, remaining vote for BRS: KTR

HYDERABAD: Calling upon Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to fulfill the 420 promises during Assembly elections. BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) said that the farming community was hit by the fake promises by the Congress party to win elections.
Addressing the Medchal Parliamentary Constituency meeting here on Tuesday, KTR said that Congress was supposed to implement the Rs 2 lakh crop loan waiver in one go on December 9, 2023. “So, I ask those farmers who received the crop loan waiver to vote for the Congress, and the rest vote for the BRS,” KTR said.
He recalled that the Chief Minister declared that he would implement Rs 2,500 for women in the State. The free bus service scheme for women hit the livelihood of autorickshaw drivers, forcing them to take their lives by suicide, he said.
“Revanth Reddy was supposed to issue notification for recruitment under Group II on April 1. So far there is no such notification. This way he cheated the youth also. No sector, no age group is happy with this Government,” KTR observed. Urging the party cadre to work hard for the victory of BRS candidate Ragidi Laxma Reddy, KTR said that the Congress fielded a dummy candidate.
Coming heavily on the BJP, he said that the national party did nothing for Malkajgiri. “The only political party with secular credentials is the BRS. You all know that the fight is between BRS and the BJP in Malkajgiri.
KTR said that the work done by K Chandrashekar Rao is tangible and could be seen, but Narendra Modi did nothing for Telangana in the past 10 years. “Can the BJP’s Malkajgiri candidate Etela Rajander tell us what he has done for his constituency,” he said. No wonder the file of cantonment lands for elevated corridors was moved by a Telugu officer Girdhar in New Delhi and not by the BJP leaders from Telangana.
Reminding Etela Rajender that crop loans to the tune of Rs 16,000 crore were waived when he was the Finance Minister in KCR’s cabinet. “Whereas Narendra Modi waived 14.5 lakh crore worth of bank loans of the crony capitalists,” KTR pointed out.
