"Touch my MLAs, will get electrocuted": Revanth Reddy responds to KCR's poaching claim
Revanth also slammed the BRS Government for failing to complete the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation (PLRI), Kalwakurthy Lift irrigation and other projects in erstwhile Mahabubnagar district.
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has responded sharply to BRS president K Chandrashekar Rao's (KCR) claim that 20 Congress MLAs are in touch with him and has said that if KCR tried to touch his MLAs, he will be electrocuted.
“I’m like a high-tension wire who is guarding Congress. If you try to touch my MLAs you’ll receive a shock,” Revanth said during a campaign in Mahabubnagar district on Friday.
Revanth spoke while accompanying his party's Mahabubnagar Lok Sabha candidate Challa Vamsichand Reddy to file nomination at the Mahabubnagar district collectorate.
Revanth also slammed the BRS Government for failing to complete the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation (PLRI), Kalwakurthy Lift irrigation and other projects in erstwhile Mahabubnagar district.
"Can the BRS leaders list out the details of projects completed in Mahabubnagar or any industries that were set up in the erstwhile district in the last 10 years," he asked.
"It was the Congress Government, which had sanctioned Palamuru University. Of the 150 sanctioned faculty posts in the university, the BRS Government failed to fill up 130 posts for 10 years," he added.
Revanth promised that the Congress would fight in the Parliament and the Supreme Court for Schedule Caste categorisation, which had been a long-standing demand in the region.
