HYDERABAD: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on Tuesday signed an MoU in Hyderabad with the Indian School of Business (ISB) for data analysis. The ceremony took place in the presence of TSRTC Managing Director VC Sajjanar and ISB Dean Prof. Madan Pillutla, ISB Data Science Department Executive Director Manish Gangwar and TSRTC IT Chief Engineer Rajasekhar.

Speaking on the occasion, TSRTC MD VC Sajjanar said that the latest deal on data analysis would help the corporation in route regularisation and enhance the profits. He said that it would be a role model for other public transport companies as well.

He claimed that TSRTC was catering to the people of Telangana by providing a safe journey with 10,000 buses serving 35 lakh people daily. He emphasised the need to promote the public transport system for the safe travel of people in addition to facing environmental challenges.

ISB Dean Prof. Madan Pillutla, in his speech, stated that data analysis would be very useful for strengthening the TSRTC transport system and providing convenient, safe and improved services to the passengers.

TSRTC Chief Operating Officer Dr V Ravinder, ED PV Muni Shekhar, CTM Jeevan Prasad, CSO Viplav, Consultants Mukund and Deepa while Madhu Viswanathan Sudhir Oleti, Kumara Guru, Sandeep from ISB participated in this programme.
