TSRTC wins 4 first, a 2nd best national awards for 2022-23: road safety, fuel efficiency, staff welfare, tech

HYDERABAD: The Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) has selected the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) for five National Bus Transport Excellence Awards. The award ceremony will be held in New Delhi on March 15.

TSRTC would receive awards in road safety, efficient fuel management, employee safety, and technical efficiency categories for the year 2022-23. Out of these five TSRTC was adjudged first in road safety, first in fuel efficiency in rural, second in urban, first in employee welfare another first in the use of technology for improved travel experience.

Meanwhile, Minister for Transportation Ponnam Prabhakar expressed happiness over the TSRTC winning five awards in different categories. Attributing the victory as a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the staff of the corporation, he wished the staff members and management of the TSRTC.

TSRTC managing direct VC Sajjanar also wished the employees of the corporation and said that TSRTC stood as a role model for the entire nation. He said that the awards were a vindication of the tireless efforts of the staff in providing the best service to the passengers.
