Two people saved by NDRF helicopter in Telangana

HYDERABAD: A National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) helicopter saved two people who were trapped in Godavari near Somanpalle village of Chennur mandal, Adilabad district. Telangana's IT and Urban Development Minister K T Rama Rao alerted the disaster recuse teams as soon as he received information of the marooned people from Chennur MLA Balka Suman.

The rescue teams swung into action and reached the place in a chopper. However, as there was no space for the chopper to land, the rescue teams suspended a rope from the chopper with the help of which the people were pulled up into the helicopter. They thanked the Minister and heaved a sigh of relief.
