VC Sajjanar launches TSRTC Radio in buses, asks passenger feedback through QR code
The decision was taken as part of the new schemes being introduced by the TSRTC inorder to attract more passengers
HYDERABAD: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) MD VC Sajjanar, on Saturday, said that a radio would be installed in all TSRTC buses for the entertainment of passengers. He requested passengers to make use of the QR code, if they get into a radio bus, and submit feedback, so that the radio could be installed in all buses.
The decision was taken as part of the new schemes being introduced by the TSRTC inorder to attract more passengers.
VC Sajjanar launched the radio setup in Kukatpally depot bus at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad. TSRTC Executive Director (Operations) PV Munisekhar, Kukatpally Depot Manager Ishaq Bin Mohammad, Mechanical Superintendent Jayaram and Electrician KVS Reddy examined the performance of radio and inquired about the working of the radio.
These radios would be implemented as part of a pilot project in nine city buses in the Hyderabad City that would be travelling in Uppal-Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar-Secunderabad, Gachibowli-Mehdipatnam, Secunderabad-Patancheru, Kukatpally-Shankarpally, Kondapur-Secunderabad, Koti-Patancheru, Ibrahimpatnam-JBS routes.
The MD said that the radio would have numerous songs along with ethical stories that would enhance moral values. He also said there would be audio on creating awareness to the passengers women and children safety, cyber and financial crimes through this radio.
He said that after receiving feedback from passengers, the management would make the radio available in all the buses and advised the passengers to make use of QR code set up in those buses to submit their opinions.
