Woman dies of heart attack in Vemulawada temple darshan queue

VEMULAWADA: A woman devotee, waiting in the darshan queue, collapsed and died of heart attack at Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple in Vemulawada of Rajanna Siricilla district on Tuesday.

The woman, hailing from Lingapur of Manakondur mandal of Karimnagar district, came to the Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple on Monday along with her husband and daughter. As there was a heavy devotee rush, the family postponed their darshan plans to Tuesday and stayed on the temple premises overnight.

Even as the family stood in the queue line on Tuesday morning for darshan, the woman suddenly collapsed, complaining of pain in her chest. The temple's medical staff examined and pronounced her dead.
