Women protest poor road conditions by planting rice saplings in potholes in Bowrampet

HYDERABAD: Residents of Bowrampet in the Quthbullapur constituency have expressed their frustration over the deteriorating condition of the roads. Continuous rainfall has exacerbated the situation, making the already pothole-ridden roads a nightmare for commuters.

In a unique form of protest, women planted rice saplings in the potholes to highlight the poor performance of the municipal commissioner and local authorities.
