Yadav community stages protest at Gandhi Bhavan over lack of representation in Telangana cabinet

HYDERABAD: Dissatisfaction is growing among various social groups in Telangana as the Congress government approaches nine months in power without a full cabinet expansion.

Despite being a significant portion of the population, many communities are frustrated over their lack of representation in the cabinet.

Led by the National Yadav Rights Struggle Committee, members of the Yadav community held a protest in front of Gandhi Bhavan on Monday demanding that the Yadavs be given a ministerial post in the cabinet. Protestors also called for three MLC positions and five corporation chairman posts to be allocated to the Yadav community, as per previous promises.
