BJP dabbles with KA Paul; Union Minister meets evangelist
Union Minister Purushottam Kodabhai Rupala has called on the president or Praja Shanti Party and evangelist K A Paul.
HYDERABAD: Union Minister Purushottam Kodabhai Rupala has called on the president or Praja Shanti Party and evangelist K A Paul.
Rupala is the Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying in Narendra Modi's Cabinet and is a Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat.
He is in Hyderabad for the upcoming National Executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Soon after meeting Amit Shah in Delhi, Paul's stature changed. Or at least he thinks so.
And the gestures of the BJP too are buttressing his thought process. One doesn't know whether the BJP is really seeking his support or trying to egg him on its opponents and make him a Frankenstein-like monster.
K A Paul, a self-styled evangelist, has always made mockery of many things and he is himself not an exception to that. He claimed to have sued US presidents and he reportedly owns a fleet of aircraft.
He launched a political party by name Praja Shanti Party, which has the colours of its flag and scarf replicating those of YSR Congress.
