Dhavaleswaram floods: third danger warning issued

AMARAVATI: A third danger alert has been issued at Dhavaleswaram with the inflow and outflow of Godavari touching 19.23 lakh cusecs. The flood flow is likely to reach 22 to 23 lakh cusecs.
The Andhra Pradesh Disaster Management Authority, in view of the increasing Godavari flow, has deployed nine National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams and 10 State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) teams, who are carrying out relief operations in the State.
Special Chief Secretary G. Saiprasad, MD B. R. Ambedkar are monitoring the flood situation. The disaster management officials have asked the people to be alert and take precautions.
