Former Telangana Chief Minister KCR fractures hip joint, admitted to Yashoda Hospital

HYDERABAD: Former Chief Minister of Telangana and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) fractured his leg on Thursday late night. He was immediately rushed to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda.

KCR is living in his Erravalli farm house ever since the electoral debacle and meeting people and leaders there.Last night, KCR reportedly slipped in the washroom and suffered an injury of left hip joint. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. Doctors are conducting tests and are treating him.

KCR has been meeting several people thronging the Farm House. His family members, son KTR, daughter Kavitha and others are at the hospital.

Doctors decide to operate upon KCR for hip replacement following an injury he had suffered on Thursday night, according to reports. The surgery is slated for this evening.
