KCR explains reasons for launching national party party executive, invitees

HYDERABAD: Before announcing the BRS on Wednesday, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao explained in detail the reasons that warranted the TRS to emerge into a national party as BRS. He announced his National Party at the auspicious Muhurat of 1:10 pm.
Addressing the party members at the General Body meeting, KCR claimed that the Narendra Modi-led NDG government at the Centre had failed to deliver in all sectors. He once again spoke of the progress made by Telangana in the eight years and felt the need for the implementation of the Telangana model of welfare all over the country. He expressed shock at India lagging behind even Bangladesh in terms of overall development.
Akhilesh Yadav asked to stay back
The Telangana Chief Minister also informed the participants at the meeting that Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav had been requested to stay back to be by the side of his ailing father Mulayam Singh Yadav. He said that Mulayam Singh Yadav was being treated in the ICU and hoped that they would together attend the future meetings of the BRS. The senior SP leader was admitted to the Medanta Hospital in Gurugram and is being treated in its ICU.
JD(U) will join hands with BRS in next elections: HDK
Janata Dal (United) leader from Karnataka HD Kumaraswamy, who also attended the general body meeting as a special invitee on Wednesday extended his party's support to the BRS. He also announced that his party JD(U) would join hands with the BRS to contest in the next general elections. He said that his party's legislators would accompany KCR in his proposed nationwide tour to drum up support for the BRS.
