HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister for Forest Konda Surekha has strongly condemned the attack on the forest officials who were attempting to stop illegal sand transportation in the Illandu Forest Division range of Bhadradri district.
She expressed her deep concern and promised that strict action would be taken against those responsible for this incident.
The Minister personally inquired about the incident with the officials concerned over the phone. She ordered the officials to take appropriate measures to prevent such incidents from happening again and called for a thorough investigation into the matter.

Given the previous attacks in the forest area, Minister Surekha emphasized the need for officials to remain vigilant and requested them to seek any necessary assistance. She assured that necessary steps will be taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
The minister said she would bring this matter to the attention of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The Minister of Forests & Environment and Taxation also mentioned that further details about the measures to be taken will be revealed soon.
