KTR asks party cadre to expose BJP-Congress "unholy alliance"
BRS Working President, Kalvakuntla Tarakarama Rao urged the party members to expose the state's alleged "unholy alliance" between the Congress and BJP.
Karimnagar, January 27: BRS Working President, Kalvakuntla Tarakarama Rao urged the party members to expose the state's alleged "unholy alliance" between the Congress and BJP.
Addressing BRS Social Media Warriors in Karimnagar on Wednesday, KTR presented video clips showcasing what he claims to be a nexus between the BJP, Congress, and industrialist Gautam Adani. He highlighted the seemingly contradictory stances of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, who criticizes Adani nationally, and Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who welcomes his investments in the state. KTR accused Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy of playing a "deceptive game" with their "pre-election Adani is bad, post-election Adani is good" approach.
Expressing concern over Adani's potential control over institutions and contracts in Telangana, KTR cautioned the people, especially the minorities to be vigilant. He alleged that Revanth Reddy's connections to the ABVP and potential alignment with the BJP could have adverse consequences. Underscoring the role of BRS Social Media Warriors, KTR urged them to disseminate this message widely, ensuring it reaches every household and mobile phone.
"There will be no surprise if Revanth Reddy becomes the Eknath Shinde of Telangana," he said, citing an instance where, a day after Revanth Reddy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Election Commission issued notifications to fill two MLC seats vacated on the same day. He argued this move benefited Congress. With a single notification, BRS could have secured one seat. KTR claimed the BJP and Congress have joined hands to weaken BRS in Telangana. "This illicit relationship must be exposed," he said, urging minorities to understand the situation.

Regarding the upcoming Karimnagar Lok Sabha by-election, KTR urged voters to support BRS to counter the BJP. He warned against voting for the Congress, claiming it would indirectly benefit the BJP.
Shifting to party strategy, KTR advised party workers to focus on their constituencies, mandals, and polling booths. He encouraged micro-level efforts to secure booth-level majority support. Additionally, KTR called on social media workers to create local issue-based content for viral dissemination and effective counteraction against alleged Congress-BJP propaganda. He said the previous BRS Govt developed the Karimnagar constituency and sanctioned a new medical college. However, the sitting MP Bandi Sanjay did not contribute to Karimnagar's growth.
Announcing plans to enhance BRS's social media presence, KTR revealed the intention to appoint two social media warriors (male and female) for each polling booth and establish an election war room in each Mandal. He emphasized the permanence of this setup by outlining plans for appointing Social Media Conveners at the Assembly and Lok Sabha constituency levels.
"Let's not confine ourselves to just winning the Lok Sabha elections. We will continue to work with the same passion and will not rest until we make KCR the Chief Minister again," he declared.
Addressing recent Assembly election setbacks, KTR acknowledged minor losses for BRS but highlighted the narrow margins in some constituencies. He expressed confidence that winning a few more seats would significantly impact the party's standing. He cited historical instances since 2001 where electoral setbacks created false impressions of the party's decline, followed by swift rebounds. "This time too, BRS will bounce back with more vigour," he asserted.
KTR also acknowledged the role of sentiments and emotions in elections, citing examples from the Karimnagar district. He emphasized the need to win back the trust and hearts of the people of Telangana, reaffirming the party's commitment to its founding principles and KCR's vision.
He concluded by appealing to party members to focus on reconnecting with the people of Telangana. He underscored the importance of unwavering commitment and the undeterred pursuit of the party's goals, drawing inspiration from the historical struggles of the statehood movement. (Ends)
