HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister and TRS Working President Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao was involved in a freak mishap on Saturday. He had a fall which forced him into a three-week rest. KTR himself announced this news on his Twitter handle (@KTRTRS), leaving his partymen and followers on the social media platform in a state of shock.
"Had a fall today & ended up tearing my ankle ligament. Been Advised 3 weeks of rest," was how his tweet read, with a sad emoji at the end.
"Any advise on binge worthy OTT shows?", he ended the tweet trying to know from netizens on how best to spend his time during the three-week layoff.
KTR had a fall before he went to Mahindra University convocation. Though he perceived it to be a minor sprain, he found it difficult to bear the acute pain and visited Yashoda Hospital while returning home. The doctors at Yashoda detected a ligament tear in his left ankle and advised him rest.
He suffered the injury just a day before his birthday.
