HYDERABAD: BRS Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath on Saturday expressed confidence that the Bharat Rashtra Samithi party would be victorious in the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency. He criticised the Congress government for its failure to fulfil election promises.
A preparatory meeting for the Hyderabad and Secunderabad Parliament Constituencies was held at Telangana Bhavan, where BRS Working President KTR provided guidance to BRS activists and leaders.
Following the conference, MLA Maganti Gopinath spoke to the media, stating that the Congress party's promise of giving gold under the Kalyan Lakshmi scheme was not implemented. He assured that the TRS party would support all BRS workers and mentioned that KTR advised to protect every worker.
Gopinath also stated that all MLAs had committed to dedicating themselves to the party 24/7 until they secured victory in the upcoming election. Responding to Revanth Reddy's comments against the BRS, Gopinath said nobody could touch the BRS party.
BRS Parliamentary Party Leader Dr K. Keshav Rao emphasised the importance of activists in the party, stating that there was no party without them. He assured them that justice would be done to the activists who had carried the party's flag and acknowledged their dissatisfaction, promising them a proper place within the party. He praised the Hyderabad BRS activists, referring to them as heroes in Telangana, and expressed confidence that no obstacle could hinder the victory of the BRS in Hyderabad.
Keshav Rao credited the Hyderabad BRS activists for effectively communicating the government's development initiatives to the public. He also acknowledged the efforts of KTR to attract voters in the capital towards the BRS. He emphasized the need to encourage more youth to join the party and expressed the intention to strengthen the party.
Keshav Rao proposed organising party meetings every three months, starting from the mandal level. He highlighted the diverse ideologies represented in the party, ranging from RSS to RSU. "Following these meetings, KCR, the party leader, will hold a meeting with party leaders to announce decisions regarding the reorganization of the party," he said.
