Megastar Chiranjeevi Awarded With 'Padma Vibhushan'
Megastar Chiranjeevi, along with former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, was awarded India’s second-highest civilian honor, Padma Vibhushan.
HYDERABAD: Megastar Chiranjeevi, along with former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu, was awarded India’s second-highest civilian honor, Padma Vibhushan. The announcement came out last night, and Chiranjeevi is extremely happy about it. Megastar immediately took to his Twitter profile to confirm the same and shared his gratitude for the government of India.
In response to the news, Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude, stating, “I’m speechless upon hearing the news of receiving Padma Vibhushan. Though we don’t share the same womb, all my fans and the film fraternity treated me like their son with love and warmth, because of which I’m able to work in this industry for 45 years, delivering films.”

Chiranjeevi released a video byte to convey his appreciation and added, “I thank the respected Bharat Government and Prime Minister of India for this honor.”
On the work front, Chiranjeevi was last seen in Waltair Veerayya, and he will next be seen in the prestigious project titled Vishwambhara. The film will be directed by Vashisht, and it is going to be a socio-fantasy film, with all the interesting elements.
