Missing NTV reporter's body found in Jagityala

HYDERABAD: The body of NTV reporter Zameer, who was washed away while reporting the flood situation in Jagityala district, was found on Friday. Zameer was reporting from Bupatipur road of Ramojipet on Wednesday when the mishap happened. He, along with his car, was swept away by strong currents of flood water.

His body surfaced on Friday after the flood water began receding.

MLC Kalvakuntla Kavita offered condolences to the bereaved family. She appealed to all the journalists reporting the flood situation in the state to take all necessary precautions and stay safe.

MLA Sanjay Kumar was at the incident spot when the authorities extricated Zameer's body which was later shifted to Jagityala.
