NIA nabs Udaipur murder suspect in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The National Investigation Agency sleuths reportedly picked up an accused in the sensational Udaipur tailor's murder.

According to information trickling in, the NIA, tasked with the probe of the killing of Kanhaiah Lal Sahu in Udaipur of Rajasthan, zeroed in on an accused in the old city of Hyderabad. The suspected accused was reportedly taken into custody at Santosh Nagar area. The accused allegedly belongs to Bihar. However, there is no official confirmation on the arrest as yet.

Kanhaiya Lal was killed by two persons in Udaipur on June 28. They released a video stating that they were avenging the hurt feelings of Islam. Kanhaiya Lal had made a social media post in support of BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma who made disparaging remarks against the Prophet Mohammed.
